Welcome Aboard!
We welcome you to S/V Barbara Ann, the new floating home of Bill and
Barbara Southworth. We're currently docked
in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia after two and one half years of design and
construction. When weather permits we'll be making the
30-hour crossing from Nova Scotia to New Hampshire.
The boat has already received quite a bit of media attention. She
was designed by Sparkman & Stephens from the ground up to be a very nimble,
53' round-the-world cruiser that can be sailed by one person. Her
